Olympic Inspiration

InspirationThe once empty community pools are now being filled to capacity.  Parents are scooping up all the speedos and goggles.  Michael Phelps, the eight time 2008 Olympic Gold Medal winner has inspired many.   Everyone is wanting to be like Mike.  Even dogs…

Paris Francis is a six year old white female greyhound with a blue eyebrow.  She was adopted when she was only one and half years old.  She never had to race on the track but she did have to train in the pits.  She eats a healthy two pounds of fresh raw food everyday.  And when she’s not running the back yard sprints and practicing agility, she’s swimming in the pool and working on her relay times.  One of the lucky ones. When she witnessed Micheal Phelps win his first gold medal in the 2008 Summer Olympics.

She was instantly inspired.  Her blood was pumping with excitement.  The natural competitiveness was singing in her voice.  Her voice was singing so loud, she jumped into the deep end to show everyone that even dogs are inspired by the greatness of sports.  Her trainers, Stefanie Noeand Timothy Glenn have supported her efforts and guide her through her challenges as a greyhound with evolved athletic abilities.

He’s been so inspiring that I’ve had to tell Roxy to give me some ‘me’ time so I can focus on making my Olympics dreams come true in London. My humans are pretty proud and wrotes about it on their internets. Check me out! [...]
